Course Description
Introduction
This course has been produced with the aim that it will contribute in some way towards bringing the numerous benefits of the ancient therapy of Cupping (Hijama), from the fringes of “alternative therapies”, into wider recognition and practice in today’s world of modern medicine.
What you will learn
The primary aim of this course is to teach you the correct "Sunnah" for the application of Hijama. It will also give you an understanding of Hijama Cupping Therapy from the ground up.
Course content
The course consists of 6 modules of theory, with audio notes and mini lectures alongside.
How many hours?
This course aims to be as concise as possible. We believe it can be completed within a week. The course can be worked through at your own pace.
Theory assessment
Questionnaires for each module, downloadable in MS Word format and to be completed in your own time.
Practical assessment
Getting certified
In order to gain the certification, you will be required to provide a video of yourself performing Hijama on someone. Having the correct equipment is necessary to do this. So you will need a cupping kit and medical gloves as well as a good quality camera and the ability to upload video.
